My stomach turns when I think about AI. Not because it's inherently bad, I think AI will do a lot of good and bad. However it turns because the world is going to be unrecognizable soon. I don't know that we as humans will adjust well to the rapid changes.

Halo 3 with 32 players on Permafrost. Project Reclaimer is nuts!
I did NOT optimize the mod to work with this many players but it feels so much better than 8v8.
I seriously can't wait to start a mod for 64 players and custom Megalo gametypes.

I'm willing to wait and see what Activision cooks. Curious which dev team gets a crack at Halo. I hope they keep it traditional at the root but innovate in many ways. Ultimately I'll be sad if the arena shooter core is gone.

I'm convinced these types of opinions are bots. This keeps people from advocating for a slow down. Not good.
the big tell is how the AI companies with preexisting highly profitable business lines (Meta, MSFT, Google, Amazon) aren't joining Sam & Dario. This safety charade is about frontier LLMs scrambling b/c they don't have a viable business and can't continue burning cash on training.

It really is shocking to see AI plug into existing softwares and absolutely outpace any skills I've built for years. It just feels bad. What took hours can now be done in minutes.
