Can a Dune book reader explain why Leto II spent thousands of years breeding a human he couldn't see in his own visions? For 3,500 years, the God Emperor controlled humanity through his prescience. He could anticipate threats, manipulate bloodlines and guide the future. But he deliberately created a bloodline that would become invisible to prescient vision. Why would the most powerful prescient being in human history deliberately create the one thing that could escape his sight?
