The Reagan Library honors the life and legacy of artist, Peter Max, who passed away on September 14, 2026. In 1981, Peter Max was invited by President Reagan to a 4th of July Celebration on the South Lawn of the White House.There, Max painted 6 paintings of the Statue of Liberty.
