The thing about early offers in basketball is that coaches know the kid won’t commit and wouldn’t accept the commitment if they wanted to. So they throw them out as favors, etc. People get caught up in who is getting what. Signing day is and has always been the great equalizer.

Reflecting on the weekend and there is more talent coming up across the state of Kentucky with several leaving lasting impressions at camp on Saturday. -2030 PF Prince Thomas IV at St. Xavier is going to be one to keep a close eye on in the years ahead. 6-7, long, athletic and energetic with some skill to build on. -2028 Everett Stuart at Lexington Catholic is skilled, competitive and can really make shots. -2028 Khi Mahorn at Montgomery County is coming back from injury and looks primed for a big season in the KHSAA. -2027 WKU commit Jack Logsdon is a strong and skilled shot-maker on the wing.
