I was fired for refusing the scientifically unproven COVID-19 vaccine. I have said they helped destroy my career. Then I filed a claim with my union.

I personally handed Will Ferrell this COVID 19 mandate exemption letter before I submitted it to the "Spirited" production (working title "Chili") staring Will, and Ryan Reynolds.
I had already been working on the production for 3 months as the Stunt Coordinator and as Will Ferrell's Stunt Double, and there were another 2 months to go.
They made the choice to mandate the vaccine more than half way into production.
When I signed my contract, there was no vaccine mandate on this production. And they assured me that there would not be one. So I gave up other work offers and committed to work on this movie.
When I refused the vaccine and presented this letter of exemption, they fired me.
Ryan Reynolds had already convinced Will Ferrell and producers to mandate the vaccine. They made an example of me to the entire cast and crew.
If they can fire a department head AND Will Ferrell's personal stunt double for 13 years... The rest of the employees were more likely to comply. ๐

This is how I remember my last day of work on Spirited, starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell.
They needed me for the stunt sequence that night. They planned to fire me the next day โ all for refusing the experimental COVID-19 jab.
