The Alpha Hunter stood silent, eyes sharp as a blade’s edge, while The Bandit observed the masses like he already knew who would fail. It was The King of the Last Sanctuary who stepped forward. "You came to join the PowerGrinders," his voice echoed, heavy as steel. "Most of you aren’t ready. Some of you are only here to watch. But a few… a rare few… will earn the right to stand beside us." The wind carried the scent of oil and dust. The King’s gaze swept over the crowd. "The PowerGrinders are more than strong—they endure. They rebuild what the weak let crumble. They fuel the war machines, carve paths through ruin, and outlast the wasteland itself." He paused, his voice turning sharp. "We are loyal. We stand as one. But that unity only exists because we are strong. There is no room for weakness among us. If you fall, you fall alone." A hush fell over the hopefuls. Some stepped back, their resolve breaking. But others stood firm. The King gestured forward. "If you think you belong, step into the arena. Show us and find your way into our circles." For some, this was just a glimpse of legends. For others, it was their chance to become one.

I was not gonna post anything for a long while. But just wanted to say my piece on 228. I don't like it for several reasons that are relevant to me 1. Lots of defi gets rekt, lst looping is untenable, and LSTs in general get unattractive, which directly hurts some of my largest bets, including Kamino and Sanctum. 2. Shorting SOL gets cheaper, longing gets expensive. 3. As usual, and this is the part about Solana I don't like and I don't say this lightly, most of what Multicoin does wrt SOL or even the Solana leadership does inadvertently gets directionally aligned with strengthening Jito in specific, and I'm not a fan of that. 4. Toly argued quite a few times, including with me on tl that inflation is not a cost, just a value transfer. Now, it's suddenly a huge cost that has just no basis in incurring. 5. The move is more centralising, further screwing smaller validators and trying to get them shut down. It's a hastily introduced proposal in my view, and not in the best interests of Solana in its current form. What's the alternative? I don't have one ready, have seen a bunch from the community. But Tushsr's statement of if you are not for 228, then you believe that the current curve is the best we can do is pure brain rot, in the vein of corrupt politician's speech. You don't have to have an alternative ready to call a bad proposal a bad one. It will get passed anyway, but thought I'll just say my piece anyway. It's not like I have to stick with Solana forever just because I have a large bag.
