Odessa A’zion had a major breakout year in 2025, and her performance in I Love LA was a big part of it.
A’zion stars as Tallulah Stiel, a successful social media influencer and former best friend of Rachel Sennott’s Maia. When Tallulah arrives in Los Angeles and reenters Maia’s life, their complicated friendship quickly becomes central to the HBO comedy, with Maia eventually taking her on as a client.
Tallulah is charismatic, impulsive and frequently chaotic, giving A’zion plenty of opportunities to steal scenes throughout the first season. The role also arrived during an especially strong period for the actress, alongside appearances in Until Dawn and Marty Supreme.
Between her comedic timing and unpredictable screen presence, A’zion made Tallulah one of the most memorable parts of I Love LA.

The Euphoria and The Housemaid star has partnered with sports prediction market Novig as both an equity partner and spokesperson. Sweeney reportedly approached the company herself after researching the prediction-market industry, with the relationship eventually developing into a larger investment and advertising deal.
Sweeney was also heavily involved in developing the campaign, helping shape its creative direction and messaging. The ads emphasize Novig’s focus exclusively on sports predictions rather than markets involving politics, wars or deaths.
The partnership arrives shortly after Novig launched nationwide as a federally regulated prediction market, giving Sweeney an ownership stake in a growing company rather than another traditional celebrity endorsement.

Tim Curry has sadly passed away at the age of 80.
Curry was one of the most distinctive and unforgettable performers of his generation. His death was reported on August 26, with reports saying he died Tuesday night.
Across a career spanning more than five decades, Curry proved capable of making virtually any role memorable. His performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show became a defining piece of pop culture, while his terrifying portrayal of Pennywise in the 1990 adaptation of Stephen King’s It introduced an entirely different generation to his work.
His filmography also included beloved performances in Clue, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Muppet Treasure Island and Scary Movie 2, along with an extensive career on stage and as a voice actor.
Few performers could move between comedy, horror, musicals and villainous roles as effortlessly as Curry did. He leaves behind characters and performances that audiences will continue discovering for generations. Rest in peace, Tim Curry.

Jerry Bruckheimer says discussions are underway with Johnny Depp about potentially returning as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6.
