Today we are unveiling the first truly accessible RL robot - welcome Microduck
A 25 cm tiny open-source biped with 15 actuators and packed with sensors (camera, speaker, LiDAR, NFC, bluetooth, wifi, etc) that you train yourself with reinforcement learning.
It's also playable out of the box with more than half a dozen fun and playful pre-trained policies to have it walk, sit, crouch, roller-skate, pick up objects with its articulated beak, and recover on its own.
And all for less than $400.

Reading history, I've always been frustrated by pages full of place names that meant nothing to me — I could follow the events but never see the ground.
Lately I've been reading Plutarch's Parallel Lives, so over the weekend I built a Reading Companion with Claude Code, using open-source data from around the web, map on one side and history on the other, so the text and the terrain can finally be read together.
The whole thing was built end to end by Claude Code, including the video below.
As the saying goes: 「其方輿之鄉導乎？方輿其史之圖籍乎？」 — "Is history not the guide through geography? Is geography not the charts and registers of history?"

Why?
The real point is deeper. Wealth isn’t in the “stuff” we consume. Food, shelter, clothes. Things that depreciate and disappear. It’s in the machines that create stuff for decades: tools, workflows, and corporations.
These are the true engines of human progress.
“If you create a machine that makes more stuff, then there’s a discounted present value for all the stuff in the future that machine might create. That’s where the wealth comes from.”
Elon started with nothing. An immigrant who slept on the floor building Zip2. He created these machines from vision and relentless effort. Thousands joined him, including a SpaceX welder who turned his labor into a million dollars in stock.
That’s the magic of tech and free markets: labor can become capital. It’s fluid.
The outrage misses this entirely. The people building machines that deliver medicines, energy, and abundance are creating lasting prosperity for everyone.
