If the deal is not signed off by then, Paramount will be forced to pay the $7M a day ticking fee to WB shareholders.

I really don’t understand the desire to merge Matt Reeves’ Batman cinematic universe with the DCU. The whole reason why Reeves eventually agreed to do THE BATMAN was contingent on him throwing away the Ben Affleck script and starting fresh. It’s singular for a reason.
