As someone who hates a long read, except it’s very captivating, I have found myself using the skim-through method to read very long reads that are important but uninteresting. I clearly remember my English teacher breaking down the method before making us read 5 novels that term. 😂

Omo, the guy just dey yarn, dey give valuable points back to back, na so my Akwa Ibom brother cut the guy off. I vex no be small cos I was enjoying the guy's lyrics. As always I spoke up and my Akwa Ibom brother was busy explaining. Allow people Speak in your Spaces mbok. He said the guy spoke for 5minutes and so? The guy was making pure sense and I am super proud of his intelligence. No be small thing yesterday, One guy, I think he is black American entered the space, that one come dey yarn e own tory, again he was cut short. Trust BA people na, the guy too no gree for Oga Host. Another Guy started talking na so BA guy no gree the guy finish, e come interrupt am, he did it more than once. Next thing, Mr. Speaker vex and used vile words on him. Told him those words were harsh and should not have been said. Guess what my Akwa Ibom brother did, he took the BA guy down and allowed the guy who used vile words on his fellow man to continue. In my opinion that was wrong and I asked why he took the guy to the listener's session. Both of them should have been sent to the listener's session or both of them should have remained speakers. I felt uneasy with that method. I was there today and @Realwilsoneric spoke his mind in the space about something he noticed and I commend him for speaking up. Rather than empathize with him, people started saying he shouldn't have spoken because it was someone's birthday and it was not the day for him to speak. In my opinion, Wilson was not treated fairly at all. Spoke up as usual and said that the guy did the right thing by speaking up. Told the Akwa Ibom Guy that it is wrong to shut the guy up because we do not know what the guy is going through and told him how people take their own lives because they were not allowed to express themselves and this is Suicide Prevention Month. Next thing that happened was, the guy muted me and told me e never reach like that for depression talk bla bla bla. He displayed Gross Ignorance about Mental Health Issues We must show people Empathy. People are going through alot in Nigeria and if they come to your Space to speak, allow them feel free and stop shutting them up! My own friend took her life last year. She didn't feel heard. No one saw it coming. She was a Nigerian. No wonder some people say they don't go to Spaces because of how they are treated I do not believe that the way some of us run spaces is the way Elon wants it to be. It is sad that we treat our fellow Nigerians this way. Na big account you be, you no be God Oga, I am using this medium to tell you to change your ways Between Yesterday and today, you acted out of Character in your Spaces. I like you as a person but the behavior you displayed has to stop. I hope you read what @Lusulpher1 wrote in response to what you and the other guy that used vile words on him did. It is this sort of behavior that makes people say don't go to some spaces. Me I would go to any space I like and If I see anything that should not be, I would Speak Up and if you mute me, You will see the story on my page Una no be God! I totally agree with @CraigxMitch when he said the internet is so dumb. People making posts about a picture and they don’t even know the backend story. Just to put young girls under unnecessary pressure. According to his reply to the particular post, The lady actually booked the jet. So what you should be normalising is how to build wealth yourself. That is the conversation we should be having. Wealth building is unisex.

We have now turned love into a game where the one who cares the less is the one that is going to win. Just think about it. You don’t have to reply too fast. You don’t have to text twice. You literally don’t have to look too interested. Since when is pretending not to care the best way to someone’s heart? Back in the days, our grandparents and parents wrote letters, poems, pages and pages, but now, me sending two text messages in a row is doing too much. I can’t help but conclude that we’re living in a backward world where effort is called a red flag and consistency is an ick. Where you have to act like you hate somebody for them to like you back. Some of us were raised in a completely different world. If I love you, you’re going to know it. A full heart. No games, no strategy. You call that too much. I call it that’s the point.
