I wasn't around for the fights last night but just woke up to see what happened with Roani Barcelos 😳
That is one of the scariest things I've seen but I'm glad he's been reported as stable and back up. Fk me if this isn't a reminder what these guys go through for our entertainment and to provide for their families.
Thought the post fight interview was a bit tone deaf from Rosas but I get it, heat of the moment type stuff. What's worse is that it looks like Roani was up on the score cards 3-1 😞

“Following his fight tonight, Raoni Barcelos was immediately transported
to a Level 1 trauma center for evaluation.
The hospital medical team conducted a CT scan and comprehensive assessment, and he is currently being monitored.
Barcelos is stable, alert and responsive, with full movement. He will remain under medical supervision. We will provide updates on his condition as they become available.”

6 years ago today Jan Blachowicz absolutely decimated Dominic Reyes for the Light Heavyweight strap in an empty UFC Apex.
I remember a lot of people counted him out for this one and in the defense against Adesanya who he also beat with ease 👊
Been on the wrong even of some split decisions after that, but this will always be a defining Polish Power moment for me 💪

Ciryl Gane has cheated in EVERY SINGLE FIGHT he's ever been in.
Nut shots, fence grabs, eye pokes, back of the head punches. The list goes on. Now he's doing the whole "why always me?" routine 😭 fk off.
The guy has genuinely blinded someone and he's acting like "meh it happens" actually POS and the dirtiest fighter all time, might actually even be worse than Jones at this point.
Yet nothing has ever been done about it and he's now the so called "champion" 🙄 what a sick joke
