They bought a ticket to your concert.
Reddit's a music festival. With a particular culture.

But seems like PE, low-quality content, and other factors are already setting things on that path.

But we're not in every post, and I can't personally encourage every creator on best practices to avoid nasty comments. We're a moderated community but don't see everything in real time.

It's is a huge community, and most creators will say they see a boost in views/clicks/etc. by sharing content + engaging in comments.
Anecdotally, genuine engagement creates goodwill. But there's certainly a % of users who think they're just as smart as any analyst.

Part of my contract with USA Today involves me posting my matchups article on Reddit each week
Which is great overall, my 2 posts have gotten over 250,000 combined views so far...
However, after posting my Week 2 piece earlier today, someone commented the player names for the 3 matchups I like and the 3 matchups I didn't like this week
I responded that it was a dick move, and that behavior like this will only *increase* the amount of AI-generated content out there
Depressing page views will only lead to worse analysis as more companies cannot justify paying actual writers if the clicks simply aren't there
Within 5 minutes, my comment received 50 downvotes (seriously)
So I'm posing this question here, if someone told you the 6 player names from my article and whether I liked/didn't like their matchup... would that make you more or less likely to read the piece?

With 3.4 mil subs and 3+ mil daily visits, there are definitely uneducated and downright bad fantasy players on Reddit.
It's why I bring in analysts for AMAs to help people get better!
Best I can tell though, nobody was trying to trade Bowers for Black. Here's closest I found
People will get upset at analysts for recommending Jalen Coker as a waiver wire pickup because he isn’t available in any real leagues.
Meanwhile I’ve got a guy on Reddit asking me if he should trade Brock Bowers for Kaelon Black.
Remember who we’re making content for.

In my time as mod, r/fantasyfootball has more than doubled in size to 3.4+ million subscribers and the reputation among the fantasy football community has skyrocketed.

Ultimately collusion, egregious trades, etc. is a issue of managers.
It's an opportunity for education in some cases, opportunity to replace problematic managers in others.

"Veto for collusion only" is a line too often parroted by podcasts assuming all leagues are the same. They aren't. A commish needs to understand their league and run it accordingly.
"The industry" has really skewed how leagues should be managed IMO.
I am the commissioner of a league and this trade just went down. I usually support the only veto if collusion is occurring. But this is league altering. What do I do?
