I have just finished implementing a full blown (and I really do mean full blown, as in quite extensive) KYC system for VERI (@veritaseum Intelligence). I did it because it is by far the safest way to go, not for the reasons that many think. You don't that agent! And now US.gov says you need to know that human user. Wait until they figure out the agents are the far greater risk. #KYC is inevitable, and honestly, I don't think its wrong, either.
Today I'm publishing a new essay, Policy on the AI Exponential. AI is progressing extremely fast—much faster than the policy process was built to handle. The essay lays out where I think the technology is now, and the action needed to close the gap: darioamodei.com/post/policy-…

Reggie is right again...Thank you for looking out for everyone. I wonder if this is a safe way forward, instead of the "credit score" system currently used (& weaponized)?

KYC on Veri is smart play by Reggie. Safest way to operate and protect the community. Users need assurances about who they're dealing with.

Is it probable that with the rapid advancement of AI that nobody's passwords for anything will be safe soon?

How is the Silver Round affected by this newly integrated AI KYC? Is the trustlessness associated with P2P also now under KYC as a result? Please forgive my ignorance regarding this🙏

Reggie. If KYC, then we can’t sell the round. Isn’t the KYC associated with token? 2nd, the KYC legal person is created by the state. if that registered name is KYC with the token, interest then transfers to the creator of the name. What if 1️⃣ wants to separate AI from state?
