I’m the winner🥇Super stoked!
#BuildItWithPhaser challenge by @phaser_ Studio in #GamedevJS Jam 2024!
I have tried several game engines, but Phaser is by far the best.
Create your Monster Party!
Choose from Fire, Water, or Garbage monsters! 🔥💧🗑️
Upgrade your army and prepare for the toughest fights.
More monster types are coming soon, and you’ll be able to mix types together to create new ones. Stay tuned!

Making a lot of progress on my auto-merge monster battler! ⚔️🔥💧
Building up my army right now, because there’s an epic boss fight waiting at the end. 👀

My game, Candy Merge 🍬 is now available on CrazyGames!
Play it here: crazygames.com/game/candy-me…
Combine matching candies to create delicious new treats, complete customer orders, and unlock an ever-growing collection of colorful confections as you progress through challenges.
Battle your way through the forest, defeat the boss, earn coins, unlock more merge space, and recruit powerful new units.
The tutorial is now in too!

Like merge games and auto battlers? Then my next game might be for you.
One of the biggest advantages of making multiple games is that each new project gets faster. For this one, I've been able to reuse almost everything I've built before.

I need a few playtesters before I officially launch my game on Reddit!
🍬 Try it here: teddit.net/r/candy_merge_dev…
Current high score: 254 candy merges. Can you beat it before the leaderboard resets on Monday?
Built for the #Devvit + #Phaser Hackathon by @RedditforDevs and @Reddit
Game jam update using #Devvit + #Phaser for @RedditforDevs/@Reddit.
Join the game via comments: type orders for the player to fulfill, they get gems for completing them, and you get flair upgrades. Win-win!
Doing something a little different than usual: I'm making a candy merge game 🍬🍫
The plan is to polish it up and submit it to @Reddit 's Game Jam. I'm using @phaser_ of course 😎
What candy should I add next?
#sologamedev#RedditGameJam
Doing a 360 Ollie Kickspinn flip with my game and ditch the unit "shop".
Players control a Hero who builds the base, creates the scrap piles for money, and eventually recruit units + upgrades. Hopefully this will create more hooks, more fun and increase engagement.

Congratulations to the challenges winners!
Unfortunately, my game wasn’t good enough to make the top 10 or unique enough to win a challenge, but I’ll come back stronger next year💪
Thanks for a successful #gamedevjs game jam.
Here's my entry: itch.io/jam/gamedevjs-2026/r…
Did you know #spine2D can be used for UI animations as well? Here's a switch with a toggle animation we can use in our game's UI.
Using Spine2d is easier, faster, and more convenient than trying to create the same animation in code.
With less than 2 hours left before the deadline, here is my #gamedevjs submission: Mean Machines
reitgames.itch.io/mean-machi…
Didn't have time to add everything I wanted. Post jam, I'll include some cool and powerful weapons.
