The problem is not population size but age. The majority of these people will be retired and a burden to the state. Which is why Europe needs young migrant workers.
This would be fine and still far exceeds Europe's population in past centuries. Also, it is simply a projection based on current birth rates and not set in stone.

Increasing the birth rate would be a lot better than immigration. That is an undeniable fact.
However another fact is the government can’t increase the birth rate above replacement.
This is why immigration and ai are the only solutions. To deny it is to be blind to reality.
No it doesn’t. That’s a political decision and presupposes 1 immigrant equal 1 German. I’m not saying it would be easy - but neither is it easy to make new Germans from an immigrant population. There are trade offs in either direction.
