I had the opportunity to be one of the judges for the Jumpstart South Central Wisconsin TechX Accelerator Pitch event at the Rotary River Center. After 10 weeks of work, six local entrepreneurs got the chance to pitch their businesses and ideas.

I had the chance to visit Head Start in Beloit and spend some time talking with the staff about the work they do every day. What stood out to me most was how dedicated these folks are to the kids and families they serve.

WEAP provides autism services for kids and families, including early intervention, ABA therapy, social skills programs, and parent education. It’s always exciting to see organizations like this choose Beloit and bring more services closer to home for families in our community.
