After visiting Miami Correctional Facility in Indiana and demanding answers from ICE, I held a Report to the Community to share what we have learned about the conditions inside.
ICE confirmed nearly 800 failures to deliver medication adding to this facility's already troubling record of mistreatment and failure to meet legal standards. The people of Indiana deserve transparency and accountability. ICE detention at Miami Correctional Facility must end.

These admissions raise serious concerns about the conditions inside the facility. I continue to call for an end to ICE detention at Miami Correctional Facility, a full and transparent investigation into injuries and deaths, and accountability for any failures that put lives at risk.
