The fraud crackdown continues. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has canceled approximately 315,000 unauthorized Obamacare enrollments covering more than 760,000 people, expected to return roughly $2.2 billion in taxpayer-funded subsidies. Taxpayer dollars should go to people who are actually eligible, not fraudsters gaming the system. Fond du Lac knows how to put on a festival! I had a great time at Fondue Fest and enjoyed getting out to see folks from around the area. Of course, I had to stop by Curbside Coffee while I was there. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it such a fun day in Fond du Lac!

I had a great time joining the Patriot Riders of America Wisconsin Chapter for their fundraiser at the Little Farmer in Fond du Lac last weekend. These veterans and supporters do a lot to honor those who have served our country and give back to the people around them. I appreciate their continued work and was glad to spend some time with them and hear about the causes they support.

Today, we recognize the airmen, guardians, families, and veterans who have carried on that proud tradition. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

No one in Wisconsin’s Sixth District should have to pay higher electricity bills to subsidize the infrastructure needed for a data centers. That’s why I’m supported the Ratepayer Protection Act. As America leads the AI race, we need to ensure these major investments don’t leave families and small businesses footing the bill for the energy infrastructure they require. We can support innovation while protecting Wisconsin ratepayers.

It was an honor to speak at the Campbellsport Fire Department’s 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Ceremony. Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember those we lost and the first responders who showed extraordinary courage and sacrifice that day. Thank you to the Campbellsport Fire Department for keeping their memory alive and for continuing to serve and protect our communities.

The Constitution is more than the framework of our government. It protects the freedoms we exercise every day and puts important limits on the power of government. From freedom of speech and religion to the right to due process, these protections are fundamental to what makes the United States of America an extraordinary nation. Today, we honor the Constitution and the principles of liberty, individual rights, and limited government that have guided our country for generations.

A big win for Two Rivers Harbor! The Water Resources Development Act passed the House with the Two Rivers Harbor project included. After hearing directly from local boaters, businesses, and community leaders about the problems caused by delayed dredging, I pushed to get this project moving. I’ll keep fighting for the people of Wisconsin’s Sixth District and making sure your priorities are heard in Washington.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was changed forever. We remember those we lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders and Americans who showed extraordinary courage. We must never forget the lives lost, the families changed forever, and the unity that brought our nation together.

One year ago today, we lost Charlie Kirk. Charlie dedicated his life to engaging young people in our political process and sharing his Christian faith with others. Whatever our political differences, there is never a place for political violence in our country. We must be able to disagree and debate with one another without resorting to violence. We should honor Charlie’s memory by continuing to stand for free speech, faith, and peaceful political debate. My prayers remain with his family and loved ones today.

Today, we celebrate the American workers who keep our communities strong and our economy moving. From the factory floor to the family farm, Wisconsin workers have built a reputation for hard work, skill, and dedication. I am proud to represent a district with so many hardworking men and women who contribute to our state and our country every day. This Labor Day, we recognize and thank them for all they do.
