Hardworking Long Islanders deserve relief from rising commuting costs.
That’s why I introduced the bipartisan Lowering Commuting Costs Act to allow Americans to deduct the cost of getting to work from their taxes, including gas, public transit and tolls.
It will put money back in working families' pockets and help them save on their daily commutes.
