Most of my focus is on national politics but a democrat running for NC state house, in my home district, has stated MAGA supporters need to be sexually assaulted and she has called for attacks on U.S. soil in Alabama and Louisiana - where stupid people live. After learning today, that Shelley Headen is refusing to step down, it is important for me to speak out and ask that people in our district support John Blust.

It is the honor of a lifetime to accept President Trump’s nomination to serve as the next United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Having served in the region both in combat as an Army officer and for two years as a diplomatic liaison in the Kingdom, I understand the strategic importance of the partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia and the profound responsibility of this position.

My immediate family has given more than sixty years to our military.
My brother, sister, and I graduated from West Point, served in combat, and, at one point, were all deployed to Iraq simultaneously.

As the names of Americans murdered on September 11th are read aloud at Ground Zero, AOC and Mamdani are laughing and smiling together.
There is a time and a place for politics. This isn’t it.
Ground Zero is sacred ground.
Those names belong to fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, firefighters, cops, and innocent Americans who went to work one morning and never came home.
For a few hours, on one day, have some damn respect.
September 11th is not a photo op.
It is not a networking event.
It is a funeral America has attended for 25 years.
