We have a national epidemic of people talking about football who clearly have no intention of ever watching it.
Sure. They don’t throw the ball well. They barely run the ball better than they throw. Their defense is just mediocre at best. Stats are even skewed a bit bc none of the offenses they have faced are any good. They do however, have terrific coaching. But to be a great team, you need great players as well and they don’t. Every game I watch of theirs, I’m never impressed by any facet of their game. Most people outside of the SEC feels the exact same way…. Bc we aren’t biased.

And legitimately, with all due respect because when he's on, he's a great broadcaster, we have to cut out this indulgence of Kirk Herbstreit. College football is not any one person's vanity project, and I'm hoping ESPN understands how ridiculous they were about it this season.
Playoff was great. My big note: ESPN has to do better in the regular season. Gotta cut out the incessant playoff chatter during G5 conference games, need to celebrate and enjoy the regular season for what it is.
CFB can have it both ways: the best regular season in sports AND an amazing postseason.
