I’m torn I would have ran over them to get to my kid. However there will be some officers who are good dads and they could be torn away from their children for a situation they didn’t create. Their careers permanently for sure but it’s a hard one to judge.

Late but, YES. They caused needless deaths of people mostly children, due to their LACK of a real response. Waiting while he killed all those people is not good law enforcement. They R trained 4 these scenarios & know better! They shouldn't have graduated from ANY police academy!
