We are concerned for his safety and urgently want to hear from anyone who has seen him.
Andrew was last seen in the Chilwell area at around 8am on Sunday 27 September 2026.
He is described as 5ft 8ins tall and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, navy shorts and black trainers, he was carrying a grey bag.
If you have seen Andrew or have any information on his whereabouts, please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 331 of Sunday 27 September 2026.

✈️ Annual Leave:
Me and my wife are taking our first year wedding anniversary in Germany.
As a 17 year old lad this was my first posting, the memories I have shared with my wife countless times.
So without my knowledge, Amanda went and booked us Berlin, she wanted to create a memory of us in Germany rather than listen to my squaddie youth.
From tomorrow till Thursday our community will be quiet, unless a Beacon Alert has been activated.

Border Force are dependent on a call from the French or the migrants themselves to know a dinghy is on its way. Surveillance of our maritime border is a joke.
Restore Britain will change that 24/7/365 surveillance and patrolling, and a robust law enforcement presence - Coastal Command. Nothing will cross our maritime border without us knowing. Anything considered a risk will be interdicted.
Channel migrants who landed on a Kent beach may have made a decoy emergency call to distract Border Force and reach the shore undetected, said seafarers.

🔊Very Humbled, Ian Got The Send Off He Deserved:
Thanks to the efforts of the local Royal British Legion and volunteers from Veterans In Communities (which supports ex service personnel across the North West), it was standing room only at Accrington Crematorium. Scores of people turned out to pay their respects to someone who even as a complete stranger was willing to risk his life for theirs.
I cannot thank you all enough for commenting on and sharing my post about Ian. Over 30,000 people engaged with it.
His send off was truly fitting for the hero he was.

Eternal thanks to the ambulance staff, Derek the hero passer by, Downey and the staff at Golden Jubilee who prevented him passing on the street and enabled him to pass peacefully with his family.

Care home staff are asking the Lancashire community to attend his funeral
Final Call to Arms:
Accrington RAF veteran needs a fitting send off
Care home staff are appealing to the public to ensure a dedicated armed forces veteran receives an honourable send off.
Veteran, Ian, who spent years collecting poppies for the Royal British Legion (RBL) has passed away, and his care home team is appealing to the Lancashire community to give him the honourable send off he deserves.
The veteran, who served with the RAF and had Parachute Regiment connections, passed away peacefully on August 31.
Having spent his retirement actively supporting fellow service members, he leaves behind no known surviving family or next of kin.
Care home staff arranging his funeral are calling on local military organisations, veterans, standard bearers, and members of the public to stand in as his family for one final salute.
A funeral will take place on Thursday, September 24, at 3pm, at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington.
Anyone wishing to pay their respects, line the route, or provide formal military representation is warmly invited to attend.

🚨BEACON ALERT: MISSING VETERAN
Have you seen Sunderland man Sean? The 57-year-old, who is of the Monkwearmouth area of the city, is believed to have left his home in the early hours of today (Wednesday).
His black Land Rover car, which has a red poppy sticker on the rear, was sighted at 1.40am today on the A1 in Blagdon, near Stannington in Northumberland.
Officers and Sean’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
