Final Fantasy II and III had both already released in Japan before FF1 came out in English.
Wild.
Well I guess it’s Final Fantasy.
You know it’s called Final Fantasy because the team wanted a game name that abbreviated cleanly FF. The first choice was Fighting Fantasy but it was already copy righted.

This is 100% my definition.
Except I don’t count PS3, Wii, & Xbox 360, even though they could, because they were primarily built for modern widescreen displays.
PS3 & Xbox 360 also had HDMI, which I draw a clear line at.
Not to mention how much internet-centric they all were.
What do you consider to be a "retro" console?
For me, I consider a console to be "retro" if it connected to a CRT at the time of launch.
I know younger generations may define the word differently, but that's how I define the term "retro".

I also never watch anything on YouTube except for Nintendo Directs, or The Game Awards, etc.
Seeing how much time I spend streaming on YouTube, it’s ironic.
I feel like I'm the only person in the world still that doesn't browse videos on YouTube. Beyond specific things like trailers or game reviews, I never go on there. There's too much other stuff like streaming TV, games and books that take up all my time already!

I finished Silent Hill 1, 2, 3, 4, Homecoming, and Shattered Memories.
I have played Origins but didn’t finish it.
Other than that, I haven’t touched the rest of the series yet.
I really want the three new releases.

This post reminded me of when I played Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Steam.
It’s locked at 30 fps on PS4, but you can play at 60 on Steam.
There’s a stage with a doorway that won’t open whatsoever if your fps is 60, for whatever reason.
If it’s at 30, it opens fine.
Another reason for me to be wary of upscaled remasters.
I’ve played RE4 many times but not on professional mode.
Sounds stressful.
This happens just because the framerate is higher, too.
