Every once in a while I have to remind people how terribly stupid shorting is. The biotech retard got liquidated on his moderna shorts, the ai retard got liquidated on lots of his SAAS shorts, and recently a lot of crypto retards got rekt on their ETH shorts.
Let me educate you. Again.
Let's say you bought 1 Bitcoin at $1 and rode it up to $100,000. You made 100,000x your money with a risk of $1.
Now let's say you shorted BTC at $100,000. Your risk is $100,000 and your max gain is only $100,000. You're risking 100,000x more to make the same money.
Feel free to search my posts for me telling you this same example again and again in different forms saying the same thing. Shorting is very, very mathematically stupid. INB4 someone mentions leverage & I explain that it's even worse...
