Started writing a column, but honestly, it's probably for the best to wait a bit.
I still cannot believe I just watched Virginia Tech outgain Pitt 499-295 and lose. #Hokies

#Hokies defense isn't having a good night, but Tech does blow up a run play for a safety.
Tech has turned it over FOUR times and trails by 9. Imagine if they had taken care of the ball tonight...

There are no words, folks.
3 turnovers. Backup QB. Biggest game at Lane Stadium in years.
Down 11 in the fourth quarter.

There's another bailout. This time, it's on the Pitt long snapper.
#Hokies have had a golden opportunity presented to them in the second half, but they're yet to capitalize.
Thanks for the bailout, Pat.
#Hokies escape with no points allowed after the sack/fumble.
This offense desperately needs to find its rhythm from the first half.

Ty Howle's offense has been boxed up for four consecutive drives.
It doesn't help that Virginia Tech continues to commit penalties. #Hokies

Pitt has scored four TDs on their last five possessions.
#Hokies hot start has been erased, as they now trail for the first time tonight.

It goes without saying, but everything has now changed without Mason Heintschel out there for Pitt.
Huge opportunity for the #Hokies defense.

Virginia Tech's lead now sits at three.
#Hokies have practically gifted Pitt 14 points.
Excruciating.
