I'm glad that farmers in Kigezi region have adopted the use of compost manure which is made with a 3 pits model. This compost manure is completely organic and is environmentally friendly. You too, can start preparing and using this manure to improve your crop yields while protecting the environment.

Yesterday, at @BANYAKIGEZI , I encouraged listeners to construct contour trenches (Fanya chini) as we prepare for the El Nino Rains expected soon across East Africa. Contour trenches help to reduce the speed of flowing water to prevent the destruction of crops, livestock and people's lives. You too, can construct these trenches, especially if you are in highland areas. You will thank me later.
