Wisconsin's popular Right to Work law is designed to fully protect workers from being forced to pay union dues against their will.
But that right is being improperly limited by union bosses using arbitrary "window periods" to stifle attempts by workers to stop dues.

The bleeding continues for union boss Sean O’Brien as another company says “sayonara” to Teamster control.
Employees at Penske Truck Leasing in Richmond, VA have officially kicked the Teamsters to the curb, with the NLRB certifying their vote to decertify the union. Once again, workers are showing that when they have a choice, they don’t always choose union representation.
As Committee President Mark Mix puts it:
“There is a place for unions and there will be a place for unions, but there’s no place for force. When you add the compulsion and the force on top of the power that unions have, it makes them completely unaccountable.”
Unfortunately, Virginia legislators led by Sen. Jennifer Carroll Foy, D-Prince William, are working to strip Virginia workers of that core freedom to associate -- or not associate -- with a labor union.
And you can be sure she and other Big Labor Democrats will take another bite of that rotten apple when the General Assembly returns for its next legislative session.
