There’s a big difference between randomness you can recreate and randomness you can actually verify. @quipnetwork built Quantum Echoes around the second idea. The artwork isn’t being shown yet, while 226K QFTs remain blank. Behind each one is a 256-bit seed produced through QVRF from a quantum measurement. The interesting part is that the team says the seed isn’t visible to them either. After reveal, a QVRF transcript should let you check the process but verification is still via Quip’s API, not fully on-chain, and Quip currently runs both the oracle and trustee. One thing i noticed about @quipnetwork is that QuipSwap isn’t built around moving tokens through a central pool. The two parties keep their assets on their respective chains, and the trade is completed through cryptographic conditions. Hash locks make sure the settlement follows the agreed steps, while the shared secret connects both sides of the transaction. The broader security model is interesting too. Quip Accounts use post-quantum signatures, so the project is thinking beyond the security assumptions used today. QuipSwap is already live on Base and has gone through an Oak Security review. Paper trading is available while the open orderbook is gradually being introduced. It’s a pretty different way to think about cross-chain swaps.

The final seed comes from real quantum hardware when the QFT reaches the reveal queue. An Eigen Key does not decide the artwork. It only guarantees that one QFT resolves Rare or Ultra Rare. Minting might be only the first step for QFTs. @quipnetwork EchoTuner lets you interact with a QFT through its holder address. After entering the address, you can select the NFT you want to explore. The interface also gives a visual look at the generated audio, with the tuner covering frequencies from 30 Hz to 16 kHz. Quantum Echoes is Quip’s first QFT collection, created using QVRF output for its artwork. It’s interesting to see a collectible connected to an interactive experience instead of simply sitting in a wallet. A small feature, but an interesting way to explore what’s behind a QFT.
