The late (and wonderful) Sir Jim Walker once kindly gave me a goodybag filled with tasty Walker's @Shortbread treats. Contents devoured pronto! Yesterday my wife found the bag & deemed it perfect for dogs leads. Now Gus, our Lakeland Terrier, is a huge walkers/Walker's fan too.
Lovely to see Hook Norton Brewery's horses and dray at Fairport's #Cropredy Convention this morning while waiting for field to open as Trevor Horn soundchecks. Sounds fab
Thanks @mrendell@thethirdumpire for a fun night at Exeter Phoenix packed with TdF gossip, history and behind the scenes insight. Plus death threats and classic Monkhouse. Chapeau.
Looking forward to being a judge for the IPRA Golden World Awards once again. Fully expect to be wowed and educated by many great campaigns from around the globe. Thanks @ipraofficial for the nice visual below. Love the golden vibe! Good luck to all of this year's entrants.
Amazing, emotional, slick extravaganza from @petshopboys in Birmingham tonight. Thanks for the new memories...and for reviving some old ones. Viva #Shampooch.
youtu.be/jiwf7jHjX-I?si=VdDr…@petshopboys Ah, sweet nostalgia! This clip has made me very happy. My late Mum Marion co-owned #Shampooch with Donald and Denis. Remember watching you perform West End Girls in their garden. Reckon you'd have hit even greater heights as Shampooch.
Like so many others right now I have mild #covid. Very thankful to be jabbed/boosted. @RealBobMortimer autobiography raising my spirits: warm, at times poignant and genuinely laugh out loud funny #nationaltreasure
Obs not doing it for the thanks but mightily appreciate this arriving in post today from @GiveBloodNHS
Very inspirational.
#Giveblood if you can folks. Worth it for the biscuits alone.
Gave blood for the 50th time yesterday. As ever, so impressed with the professionalism and good humour of the @GiveBloodNHS team in Banbury.
People, if you can give blood, please do. If you've never donated before it's a cinch, I promise. And the bonhomie and biscuits are great.
