The statue of Prometheus is finally finished. It was cast in Paris, crossed the Atlantic, and was assembled at Starbase. It took us 100 days to go from nothing to this. People of the West, we have lived through an era devoid of dreams, devoid of destiny. But the time has come to reclaim our dream of antiquity. In a few months, we will start building a new city. It will be the most magnificent city in all of history. After all, the great dream of the West has always been to rebuild Rome. Come walk beside us in this endeavor. The world is waiting.

This is too much fun. A render of how the quilted hyperbolic isotensoid Mars city structure might work.

Today, Pioneer Labs is announcing our first step towards terraforming Mars. 🚀🌼 With equipment that fits in just a single rocket launch, we can convert Martian dirt, water, and air into enough building materials to construct a small city on Mars. To do it, we made the first microbe for Mars. We found the best microbe on Earth and used evolution to teach it how to source all of its nutrients directly from Martian materials. The first astronauts will be greeted with safe shelter already filled with water, oxygen, and rocket fuel for the return journey. This is the first step toward using biology to make Mars a friendly place for life. It lets us live off the land and helps us build the next great frontier. It's the first of five organisms we need to green Mars ⬇️

I'll just put this out there
Had to verify for myself and the message is real. If this thing really is going to fly I wouldn't be suprised if they've been testing it in one of the mystery tents at SpaceX's McGregor site.

The Cybercab motor uses no rare earth metals, but maintains the same range! This was extremely hard to achieve.
The Cybercab drive unit features a simplified bar-wound stator and lubrication system, plus an overall architecture that enables fully automated, sub-10-second cycle times. It is 18% smaller, 25% lighter and more efficient than other top performing electric vehicle drive units.

Wow, check this out! Ship 40 on FORTE has risen. Chris Bray made a sweet little timelapse. Looks so overkill for the upper stage, but I'll take it. 😆 Again, make sure you follow Chris as there are plenty more shots from today to check out. Fun times! 🫶 instagram.com/chrisbrayphoto…
