Christianity asserts the existence of realities, beings, and events that transcend the ordinary physical world and its known natural processes.
These include:
• 𝗚𝗢𝗗: A supernatural creator who exists independently of the physical universe.
• 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟: Realities associated with existence beyond earthly life.
• 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘: Human existence continuing after biological death.

𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝟮: God created the universe.
𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝟯: God communicates with humanity.
𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝟰: Jesus was God incarnate.

𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝟲: Jesus was supernaturally resurrected.
𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝟳: Human beings can experience an afterlife.
𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝟴: God can grant eternal salvation.
Every one of these claims depends upon supernatural reality being possible and the particular supernatural events or entities being real.

Christianity makes affirmative claims about supernatural existence.

It is not the responsibility of skeptics to demonstrate that supernatural realities are impossible.
A Christian asserting that God, heaven, angels, or resurrection exist must provide evidence supporting those assertions.

𝗡𝗢.
There is currently no scientifically established demonstration that a supernatural realm exists.
No supernatural realm has been independently verified through reproducible scientific observations.
There is also no generally accepted scientific demonstration of:
• Consciousness surviving irreversible brain death.
• Human beings existing in heaven or hell.
• Angels or demons existing as independent supernatural entities.
• Divine intervention violating or overriding natural processes.
• A deceased person returning to life through supernatural intervention.
𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
The absence of scientifically established evidence for a supernatural realm does not logically demonstrate that every conceivable supernatural reality is impossible.

Faith may provide believers with personal conviction.
But personal conviction does not independently establish objective reality.
The same problem confronts supernatural claims made by other religions.
Muslims, Hindus, Christians, and followers of numerous other religious traditions may express profound certainty about supernatural realities.
Yet their supernatural claims frequently contradict one another.

Christianity's reasoning generally proceeds from supernatural premises.

Each subsequent claim requires additional justification.

Yet the existence of a supernatural realm 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱.
