The more time I spend looking into PlayOnMint, the clearer the loyalty side becomes.
The core loop is simple.
Play
Earn XP
Earn
$MNTD
Stake
Build MINT Status
Unlock stronger rewards
$MNTD is the utility token of this ecosystem. The rewards and loyalty system are built around it. It has a fixed supply of 1 billion and a planned launch on Base.
MINT Status is divided into 7 levels. Moving up through those levels can unlock benefits such as rakeback, daily rewards, weekly lossback, lock boosts, raffles, airdrops, and staking rewards.
Then there is MintABear.
The collection has 4,444 Bears and had a free mint on Robinhood. But the real value is not just the collection itself.
MintABear connects directly back to MINT through:
mystery box raffles
secondary-market royalty rewards
$MNTD-powered Bear leveling
MINT Status utility
Bears can be leveled from 1 to 5 by burning
$MNTD. Higher levels may increase royalty weighting and the available MINT Status boost.
Taken together, the picture looks like this:
Activity creates progression.
Progression connects to
$MNTD.
$MNTD connects to Status.
MintABear adds another layer of utility on top of the same ecosystem.
That is what I am watching as I continue exploring MINT.
