Receiving an interesting ratio of death threats and VC outreach over this now, so should probably clarify:
We at @Auki do not actually track any person. In this visualization we show how manage to derive the data we actually track: what part of the shelf receives attention.
It's like tracking how many cars cross a bridge without tracking which car it was or who was driving.
The reason we do this is to allow the stores to better optimize their shelf space. Space is first or second biggest cost for every retailer, so optimizing the use of space is what allows them to reduce prices for the consumer - something they're all under intense pressure to do.
We do not store any data at all about the shopper, and have no plans to.
Auki's tech will not be used to profile you, but it will make your groceries cheaper and your store visits faster.
We have always been champions of privacy, and that's not going to change.

We can measure what part of the shelf gets customer attention without any additional hardware. Just your normal CCTV cameras and a digital twin made with the phone in your pocket.

Today pieces canne together nicely, felt like witchcraft! Running at 1440x1920 cam feed, AR tracking to place detections into 3D. Some matb to group into shelf lines and save product placements to the Cactus realogram.
This will be a great speedup and feels more intuitive🚀
Globally, electronic shelf label (ESL) manufacturers are being pressured to provide location based solutions to stay competitive.
Several have come to us for integration, and we're also exploring how to make their ESLs more robot-friendly (faster scanning from further away).

AI bros reinvented "way of working", standardized processes, and call it "Graph engineering". What every large coproration has been doing for decades, but translated to agents. It is great and the natural thing to do, but the hype is exaggerated🍿🍿. I wonder if the next hype is to put an entire XFT of agents into a slack channel and give them a scrum board? Because that will probably work well actually.

Which is also what processes in large corps are about, just at a different timescale and cost

While Spot inspects the fire extinguishers and padlocks, our robots can inspect the Coca Cola shelves and promo bays in stores. 😄
You can remotely control robots without latency issues by just picking a destination and letting the robot go on its own.

Yesss! Bit more ux to make the experience smoother and sepf-explanatory, this will speed up setups of large stores, but perhaps even better it is just a more intuitive flow to use, with more direct feedback
