📌 VIRO 2026 – Global Voices in Renal Oncology | Day 1 - Session 2 The second session of #VIRO2026 – Global Voices in Renal Oncology continued with a practical and globally focused discussion on renal cancer care, covering treatment after first-line failure, disparities in access, diagnostic strategies, next-generation imaging, and challenges in kidney cancer clinical trials. Maria Bourlon (@BourlonMaite) discussed what to do after combination therapy failure in the first line, focusing on treatment considerations beyond initial therapy. Fernando Cotait Maluf shared a Latin American perspective on renal cell carcinoma diagnosis and treatment, while Federico Losco explored the hidden burden of kidney cancer, including epidemiology, access gaps, and challenges in low- and middle-income countries.
