Oh gosh, this year is going amazing and we want to wrap up a little of what happened so far 🧉
We launched the alpha version of the EIP Lab (eiplabv1.vercel.app/lab) and presented it at the EIPIP Call by @ECHInstitute in July + we will do an update by Sept!
EIP Lab helps researchers and developers create their own EVM features on any EVM without client update needs. It could be for testing or for production. Bigh shout to @0xoucan for this great product.
@poojaranjan19's official outcome: "EIP Lab Demo (@ariutokintumi + @0xoucan): Tool uses EVVM stack + AI agent to generate testable smart contracts for any EIP in ~3 clicks and under $5; demonstrated live with EIP-8034."

We started building our first official EVVM Fisher (relayer), and @menuRivera released an alpha version on July 8th as planned: nitter.net/RollAMate/status/20702….
Fishers are relayers in charge of detecting or receiving transaction intents anywhere and executing them inside the targeted EVVM environment on behalf of the account. It's an optional component for the deployers and can be configured as mandatory. It unlocks massive flexibility to help build whatever wild architecture you can imagine on any EVM.
We are continuing to work on this and expect the beta version in late Sept: github.com/EVVM-org/fisher
EVVM is going into runnable infrastructure ⚡️
We started building our first official EVVM Fisher (relayer): a portable Docker-based node with UI config, service controls, reports, cryptographic capabilities and support for all EVVM execution flows.

"Demand-based recurring pricing" is how the EVVM name service works: Plain fee unless there is staked offers for your name, with a max limit.
This is supported by @VitalikButerin, he wrote about it before, as an alternative to @ensdomains implementation: vitalik.eth.limo/general/202…
First of all, it's great to see @ChrJentzsch proposing a general solution and @nicksdjohnson responding positively, especially when he could easily disqualify it given the technical gaps clearly stated.
I want to add my 2 cents regarding pricing, let's switch to "Demand-based recurring pricing", @VitalikButerin also posted about it in the past (vitalik.eth.limo/general/202…)
Here is an implementation example, complete and ready to clone by @ensdomains made by the @rollamate team: github.com/EVVM-org/testnet-… and docs: evvm.info/docs/category/name…
Plain pricing, dynamic renewals, and staking to offer. All in the native $ENS token, potentially using an optional pricing oracle or on-chain API. What could go wrong?
This is a permissionless, transparent, and decentralized way to do it, and it adds a great feature to the architecture.
As a domainer (domain investor) since the late 90s, I believe this is the best approach to avoid squatting and ensure fairness in renewal pricing.
