TakeYourShot22:
CC22 Iowa GameDay Anthem 🖤💛 Cinematic Edition
🖤💛 *Nothing Special to See Here… Yeah, Right!*
Caitlin Clark comes home. The Caitlin 1 makes its debut. ESPN College GameDay comes to Iowa City. And Hawkeye Nation shows the world what makes Iowa special.
From black-and-gold pride and the excitement of GameDay to the unforgettable Iowa Wave at Kinnick Stadium, this original CC22 Iowa GameDay Anthem celebrates more than basketball, football, or a pair of shoes.
It's about where you come from, the people who lift you up, and the little things that turn out to be the biggest things of all.
*Why the Cinematic Edition?*
After making the original Short, I came across the article “Dear WNBA: Caitlin Clark Would Never Say This, So We Will.” Reading it and the heartfelt letters from fans inspired me to make something more.
Instead of writing another letter, I decided to make mine a song and a video.
A letter to Iowa. To Hawkeye Nation. To the kids waving from the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. And to everyone who makes this place special.
*Some things you carry. Some things you keep.*
Thank you to the writers and community behind that article for the inspiration.
And most of all...
*THANK YOU, Caitlin Clark & IOWA . 🖤💛*
🌽 GO HAWKS!

The U of Iowa was the first public university to admit women & men as equals, & Christine Grant, the first women’s athletic director at the U of Iowa, was instrumental in making Title IX stick. The fact that Iowa is now where WBB is everything is awesome & so appropriate. 🔥🔥

WHO IS AMINATA GUEYE?! 👀
Undrafted
Then Natalie Nakase threw her into a playoff game against A’ja Wilson and she gave the @valkyries 9 PTS, 2 STL and 1 BLK in just 13 minutes.
So where did the Valkyries find her?
Why was she so good?

NEW CONE! Hurricane Watches are now up along the upper Gulf in pink. Tropical Storm Watches in yellow. Latest Wednesday track here. Little nudge east again. NHC talking rapid intensification possible. Still showing peak at 110mph before some weakening towards landfall. But they note winds might not come down much. So IMO don't think hearing weakening minimizes impacts. spaghettimodels.com

With all the negativity going on, and the passing of Jess, I want to do a better job of using my platform to highlight some members of this community that really make me proud to be a member of this Fan Club.
I would have never have gotten my Caitlin1s if I wasn’t following her BTW.
You are awesome @caitlinclarksty
