RTS is saddened to report the passing of longtime @CoastalSoftball Head Coach Jess Dannelly. Dannelly coached the Chanticleers for 22 seasons bringing the program into the mainstream of Division I Collegiate Softball.

Dannelly had a 667-544 career record, and is the program’s all-time winningest coach. During his tenure Dannelly led @CoastalSoftball to five Big South Conference Tournament championships and trips to the 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2006 NCAA Postseason.

Alyssa Ruiz has been named the new head coach @QU_Softball. Ruiz served last season as head coach at Saint Peter's University where she had been an assistant since 2018. The Peacocks went 7-44 in 2026. #Rounding3rdSB

Diane Lokey has announced her retirement as head coach at West Chester University. Lokey coached @WestChesterSB for 23 seasons. As a head coach she compiled a career record of 793-487-1. She led WCU into the NCAA Postseason 14 times. #Rounding3rdSB
