This industry is tough. Like…so freaking mentally exhausting, sometimes I wonder why I try at all. But the thing that keeps me going when I want to throw the towel in isn’t the promise that my dreams will come true. It’s the people I lean on when everything feels hopeless. The fellow writers who get what it’s like because they’re going through it, too. My biggest piece of advice to any author, whether you’re just getting started or are working on your ninth novel (like me), is to find your people. Lord knows you’re gonna need them. 💜
