⚡️ Statement by the Embassy of Russia in Ireland (September 3, 2026) On September 3, 2026, Ambassador of Russia to Ireland H.E. Yuriy Filatov had a meeting at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland @dfatirl, during which the Irish side repeated insinuations by the German government over so-called drone incident at the Leipzig airport in August. ❌ Ambassador categorically rejected allegations of a Russian connection to the incident, clearly stating that claims to blame Russia in this context or for any other so-called “hybrid activities” in Europe are absolutely unfounded and misplaced. One can only regret that the Irish government is copy-pasting EU conspiracy theories. This is nothing but a clumsy attempt to divert attention from campaign of state terrorism by the Kiev regime against people in Russia and, increasingly, in Europe, as well as to build up the case for the so-called “Russian threat” to Europe, needed to justify the ongoing war effort by the West against Russia and creeping militarization of the European Union. It will not work and will not change the dynamic of the Ukrainian conflict, which Zelensky and Co. are losing. Anti-Russian escalation by the European governments, including the Irish one, is not the way to bring an end to this conflict.
