The Problem is Government. Liberal democracy shares the same principles as despotic autocracy: the centralization of power and legitimacy in a structure intended to monopolize the use of force.

There comes a point in life when you realize that all politics is a stage play, fake pandering narratives. The gap between motivated reasoning and reality is wide indeed.

I decided to stop hatemaxxing on the "system". Yes, modern society is fu*ked but is the doom loop really worth the stress? My nervous system was on overdrive; too much geo-political analysis, macro-economic extrapolation and Right vs. Left political drama. All this stress and general misplaced anxiety with no outlet! It's and endless stream of fear that just makes you angry or scared. Hating is easy to do but what does it solve? So I decided that existential, global problems do not get to occupy my mental space. I am taking a break and ditching this misanthropic doom loop.

The feeling of numbness, inability to care about modern corporate ladders and news cycles is not a personal failure or depression. Rather it's a valid 'immune response' to a world undergoing structural dissolution. Staying in the world while refusing to be burdened by its destructive force is the most delicate balance in life. What is your strategy to survive this era without being consumed by its chaos?

Canadian voters have skewed Left and it has destroyed our once prosperous nation. The problem in Canada is that we vote for a socialist agenda but nobody asks where the money comes from? We think we are wealthy but we are broke. Too many people work for the government - the bloat has destroyed incentives and skewed the voter base towards the left. The system is inherently antagonistic; it is tax producers vs. on net tax consumers (public sector vs. private sector) Each voter base wants different outcomes but the bureaucracy has grown too large and is off balance. The managerial class will not acknowledge that the system has destroyed innovation and investment; the risk is not worth the reward for the Canadian private sector. We now have what is called a "leaky bucket", the talent is leaving. We have brain drain, capital flight, stagnating investments, no real asset production and no more innovation - we do have an inflated housing and mass immigration however.

Doing taxes in Canada is like a humiliation ritual. Sometimes I wonder why business owners take all the risk only to see much of the profit confiscated? Maybe selling everything and bugging out to Latin America is not so crazy afterall?

The LLMs you consult don’t just have data. All LLMs have a worldview shaped by what sounds good in contemporary management discourse rather than what works in competitive markets. All LLMs have a bias toward current business trends. Recognizing this gap between “business desirability” and “strategic wisdom” is the first step in using these tools effectively. Leadership is ultimately about making hard choices in conditions of uncertainty and taking responsibility for them. AI cannot and should not be a substitute... hbr.org/2026/03/researchers-…
