Ukraine has introduced a new category of amphibious unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) on its Brave1 Market defense marketplace, with three platforms initially listed: BI34G, Tony and Triton.
The systems are designed to operate both on land and in water, including rivers, canals and marshland. Their intended roles include transporting ammunition and supplies and evacuating wounded personnel across difficult terrain.
One of the platforms, the tracked BI34G developed by Ukrainian company Mavka Technology, is said to carry up to 500 kg (1,102 lb) of cargo and tow an additional 1,500 kg (3,307 lb). Its water propulsion reportedly uses waterjets, allowing speeds of up to 15 km/h (9.3 mph), according to specifications published during its earlier presentation.
The eight-wheeled Tony is reportedly capable of carrying up to 380 kg (838 lb) on land and 280 kg (617 lb) on water. Its stated range is up to 50 km (31 miles) on land and 5 km (3.1 miles) on water under the specified battery conditions.
Brave1 launched a dedicated grant track for amphibious UGV development in June 2026. According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, military units will also be able to order these systems through the ePoints program in the future.
The ministry has separately reported a combat logistics mission in which an amphibious UGV traveled more than 40 km (25 miles) across land and water to deliver supplies and ammunition. It has not identified which of the three newly listed models was used.
