#HappeningNow: Stakeholders are reviewing and validating Rwanda’s Second National Human Rights Action Plan at a workshop convened by @HumanRightsRW in partnership with LAF and @Rwanda_Justice Covering 2026/27–2030/31, the plan sets out priorities and actions to strengthen human rights promotion, protection and accountability. It builds on lessons from the first plan while expanding attention to business and human rights, climate change and human trafficking. LAF is proud to have supported its development since 2023. Today’s validation marks an important milestone in this collaborative process, bringing together key stakeholders to refine priorities, clarify responsibilities and strengthen commitment to implementation. The ambition is clear: a plan that responds to people’s lived realities and delivers meaningful improvements in the enjoyment of their rights. #HumanRights #NHRAPII #Rwanda
