Sheffield, England
Stoke with way more of the chances. Momentum measued from xG-weighted shots, final-third passes, box entries, high tackles won and corners, minus own-third clearances, then smoothed with a rolling average. The higher/lower the bar the better the chances

#stoshu No final third penetration / stickiness (which obv means no / few shots). I fondly remember the days where a wide overload would often lead to a ball + runner in behind.

Having said that, one bright spot is shots per goal, where we rank 4th. Meanwhile, Cardiff are 24th -- massive xG but they must be letting fly without aiming or they always do so against v packed pen areas
I didn't realise it was this bad. It hasn't looked it. We're lucky to be mid-table. CW has a job on his hands. Thank christ for the international break. Key stats and ranking first, followed by some charts that show us in all our glory

#shuwol Tough game in store Sunday. It's a bit early to be certain of trends in style etc, but we're off the back of WLW. They are WDL.

1/1 - one up top vs two at #twitterblades. I ran the numbers. Every match from 25-26 broken down into which of Bamford, Cannon, Campbell were on the pitch and the xG and final third entries (normalised to per90) during that period. Solo Cannon shades it on xG from solo Bamford.

On final third entries, solo Bamford by quite a margin. My conclusion = we're more creative with Bamford solo up top.

1/1 - one up top vs two at #twitterblades. A question many have definite views on, so I ran the numbers. Every match from 25-26 broken down into which of Bamford, Cannon, Campbell were on the pitch and the xG and final third entries (normalised to per90) during that period.

Results: * One up top usually better than two. * Cannon solo has the best xG * Bamford solo best final third entries
