I agree with you sir
Treating everyone with respect, regardless of their wealth, status, profession, or background, is essential to being a decent human being. Some people become arrogant because of wealth, family privilege, professional experience, or the way they were raised, leading them to look down on cleaners, gatemen, junior colleagues, and strangers.
A person's true character is often revealed by how they treat people who have nothing to offer them. When you notice consistent disrespect, classism, or demeaning behaviour, take it seriously, reconsider your relationship with that person, maintain your boundaries, and protect your peace.
True class is not measured by wealth or status, but by humility, respect, and how you treat others.
As an Aside,
Treating everyone you meet with respect is something that is not negotiable to be a wholesome and complete human being. Even amongst colleagues in my profession i have found irritating individuals who exhibit classism or those whom fail to regard others around them with dignity simply because they possibly possess more years in practice than them or more money in equivalence.
Another kind of people i have met outside of my profession are the ones benefiting from a wealth they never worked for especially when its from their parents. Mostly, the adult brain of these ones develops to become irritable and stubborn brats to society by the accidental spill of the much milk they had to drink in affluence.
In addition, i have found a more interesting class of people and those are the ones that were groomed to be classists by their money miss road parents. These set of people were trained to look down on those from poor or lower background.
They don't see equality or human dignity, all they see is how much their wealth makes them a bigger figure than others in the society. They start their practicals from their gatemen, down to the cleaners and even the staffs working for them.
To conclude, accept this warning for your good. It comes off better as such than as an advice. The first thing you should notice about anybody you come across with anywhere should always be how they treat the people around them.
The minute you spot a disrespect or a demeaning conduct they shower on even the person who is a gateman or cleaner or the randomest stranger accosting them, rethink your stance on seeing them as decent people.
Respect is something that irritates and provokes a classists and as much as possible put them in their place. Give them less value and avoid them. Let their ego and arrogance suffer and as much as possible protect your peace and circle.
Accept my warmest wishes in your journey ahead.
Regards.
