Nigeria is also advancing an Innovation Hub and Innovation Grid following engagements at the 81st UN General Assembly in New York, building on a $1 billion proposition discussed during the engagements. The New York engagement has progressed from the initial $1 billion proposition to an MOU for establishing an Innovation Hub and Innovation Grid. The proposed Innovation Grid is projected to have an annual value of about $10 billion for Nigeria. The agreement is currently undergoing screening at the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation ahead of approval and signing.
