This account is a documentary, not a sermon. It’s my journey, not instructions for yours. My name is Craig. I’m 50, live in South Florida, born in Canada. “SCHD STAN” is a persona. It’s fun. I love $SCHD, but it’s not my only holding, and this isn’t a cult. I’m a long term investor focused on balance. I believe you can take something from every investing style dividends, growth, value and build your own approach. If you own both value and growth, you don’t have to chase performance when cycles shift. You’re already in it. That’s how I invest. My largest position is the S&P 500. I DCA into it every two weeks no matter what. $SCHD is number two. I also own individual stocks like $GOOGL, $AAPL, $META, $AMZN, $V along with ETFs like $SCHG, $FDVV, $CGDV, $DGRO, $SMH $VYMI. So why do I talk so much about $SCHD? Because I think it’s one of the most misunderstood ETFs out there. It’s not just about yield. It combines a strong starting yield, consistent dividend growth, and solid long term appreciation. To me, it helps balance out a portfolio that leans heavier toward growth and tech. Not instead of growth, alongside it. My goal is to steadily build my $SCHD position to $1M+ over time, creating a growing income stream for myself and my family for years to come. On this account I track my journey, share thoughts in real time, estimate SCHD’s quarterly dividends, and run my own version of the annual reconstitution to anticipate additions and removals. I also highlight dividend raises across holdings, report earnings for major holdings, post daily price updates, and share news on the fund and the companies it holds. All to better understand how it works and share that with anyone interested. Outside of investing, I enjoy running, watching football, movies, doing push-ups, and spending time with my family. I’m not here to tell you what to buy. Just showing how I do it. Step by step. Share by share. For the long run. Let’s chat. Tell me how you’re building your portfolio. Ask me anything about mine or $SCHD, how I think about it, how I’m building it. Thanks for stopping by to read this. 😎

That $33.01 did turn out to be the bottom! At least for today. 😬🤩 I bought the low of the day, but only grabbed 2 shares. Sometimes you wait for lower… and it just never comes. Questions of the day: • Did you buy any $SCHD today? • Do we see $32 next week, or was today the end of this dip?
$SCHD bounced off $33.01 right after the open. 🔴 By the time you see this, is it still holding $33? ⬆️⬇️🤔

$SCHD YTD dividend growth is just 0.85%🧐 Should investors be worried? I joined Eli from @dividendology on the Mispriced Podcast to dig into that and more: • What the Q3 dividend really tells us • Tech jumping from ~8% to ~12% after the rebalance • $SCHD vs. 5% Treasuries • Why I think 6% to 8% long-term dividend growth is still realistic • How massive late fund inflows may have pressured the Q3 payout per share • Why I still view $SCHD as a true value diversifier alongside growth We went well beyond the usual “dividend good or bad” debate. Full episode in the 🔗 below.

More on the recent $SCHD rebalance we discussed in the video.
NEW $SCHD SECTOR WEIGHTS ARE IN Updated $SCHD sector allocation following the Q3 quarterly rebalance. Staples: 19.75% 🔴 ▼ Health Care: 18.77% 🔴 ▼ Energy: 15.33% 🔴 ▼ Tech: 12.00% 🟢 ▲ Industrials: 11.43% 🔴 ▼ Financials: 9.48% 🔴 ▼ Discretionary: 6.87% 🟢 ▲ Comms: 6.10% 🔴 ▼ Utilities: 0.09% 🔴 ▼ Consumer Staples moved into the top spot, Health Care fell from 20.99% to 18.77%, and Technology jumped from 8.90% to 12.00%. Even with the added Tech exposure, $SCHD still looks fairly defensive overall, with Consumer Staples, Health Care and Energy making up the top three sectors. See the image below for the new vs. old sector allocation. For a deeper look at the individual holding weight changes from the rebalance, see the quoted post below.

$SCHD Q3 dividend growth stats
📢 $SCHD Q3 2026 DIVIDEND IS HERE! 💵 The official Q3 dividend is: 💰 $0.2665/share That represents: • +2.34% YoY vs Q3 2025 $0.2604 • +5.54% QoQ vs Q2 2026 $0.2525 • 2026 YTD dividend growth: +0.84% • TTM dividend: $1.0541, +1.95% 🗓️ Ex-Dividend: Sept. 23 🗓️ Pay Date: Sept. 28 My final estimate was $0.2714/share, so I missed by: $0.0049/share or about 1.84% The continued surge in shares outstanding clearly mattered more than I ultimately accounted for. After all the work tracking the underlying holdings, dividend increases, special dividends and $SCHD’s rapidly changing share count, we finally have the answer. How many shares will you be multiplying $0.2665 by? 💵
