Uhhhh homefield just out here casually dropping heat like it’s a Friday news dump??
(I fully expect that Skip Johnson already has a worn in version of this that he keeps in his truck just in case he needs to toss on an extra layer)

I’d personally love to see a 5-5-5 schedule format adopted.
5 permanent opponents, 5 rotating opponents, 5 teams you miss.
5 permanent sounds like a lot, but it preserves every possible rivalry and pretty much every close geographic matchup. You’d play every team in the league in 2 years, and host/visit every team in 4 years. And as a bonus, it’s a perfect round schedule so you know who you’re playing each year.
Glaring mistake not to have State and Alabama play.. 82 miles separate the campuses and long history between both programs, seems like a whiff on the scheduling side.

Looks like Dayton Tockey will indeed return for another year for @OU_Baseball. That’s a massive power bat back for the defending champions.

What happened next became one of the best Skip Bertman stories you'll ever hear 😂

This is very cool from our @D1Baseball staff .
It's an interactive look at signing bonuses in the #MLBDraft by college w/ an emphasis on which players took what share of the signing bonus pie.

According to Baseball America, the SEC is expected to adopt a three-batter minimum for pitchers and a limit of two pickoffs for conference games in 2027.

Kyle Branch had 6 RBIs in Oklahoma's MCWS win 🔥
That's tied for the second-most RBI in a national championship game, trailing only the 7 by USC's Wes Rachels in 1998.
