A President is not a king. President Trump was elected with an agenda. Over the past 20 months, his administration has pursued substantial portions of it ~ all while facing activist judges, litigation, congressional negligence, and the constitutional limits of executive power. Some things a President can do alone. Many important things he cannot. Congress writes laws. Congress controls appropriations. The Senate confirms nominees. Courts review executive action. So before saying, “He didn't accomplish everything I wanted, therefore I'm sitting out the midterms,” understand what you're actually deciding. The next Congress will help determine what gets legislated, funded, confirmed, impeached, investigated - or blocked - for the remaining two years of this presidency. Be angry where you think anger is warranted. Hold people accountable. But first, know who actually had the power to do the thing you're angry wasn't done. The time for these big changes is in the PRIMARIES. Not the general elections - if you didn't get out for the primaries - blame yourself! That's understanding how your government works.

A while back the Trump administration said that in order to qualify for food stamps (SNAP), you must work at least part time. They had everyone reenroll. 5.3 million didn't reenroll. This means the 5.3 million were either illegals or lazy people. Either way, I'm happy.

Two college students are dead, kratom was found in BOTH investigations, and that alone ought to get your attention. The two Ole Miss students, ages 18 and 20, were found dead in separate locations this week. Commercially packaged kratom was reportedly found during both investigations, and local narcotics officials have now warned people to stay away from it. But before everybody runs with the headline, nobody has determined that kratom killed these young men. Toxicology is still pending, and authorities haven’t even said the two deaths are connected. What bothers me is that this stuff can be sitting on a store shelf in professional-looking packaging and people assume that means it’s safe. It doesn’t. Until we know exactly what killed these two young men, I’d stay the hell away from this stuff. Something being legal to buy and sitting on a store shelf does NOT mean it’s safe to put in your body.

2 years ago most were anxious and praying daily for a Trump win over Kamala Harris. Since then, he has delivered on every issue. You name it, he delivered. Now, is the work done, and is every issue completely fixed? No, and of course not, but he did pick up every issue, he made things better, and he will continue to stack wins.
