Some takeaways from their analysis: ➡️ Software developers were expected to be early casualties of the AI workplace revolution. Yet, job postings for these workers have been growing faster than for other occupations. ➡️ Companies that are adopting AI are mostly experimenting with the technology. The most common uses are in sales and marketing, IT, strategy, finance and accounting. ➡️ AI is helping workers complete certain tasks faster, but it's not having a noticeable effect on productivity. One reason: There are still steps in work processes that only humans can do, which is creating bottlenecks.
